very good July 9, 2008 this is for my 16 year old daughter and she is able to use it with ease and make many garments from the patterns
There's great fun and creativity here! July 8, 2008 Think of your T-shirts as a "blank canvas" and you can get ready to create a dazzling array of personalized art that is truly one of a kind! Turn your T-shirt into another shirt entirely, shorts, pillow, apron, chair cover, dress or a totally new and dazzling kind of top that noone will ever recognize as your old shirt!
This is a fun way to save money while forging your new career as a fashionista!
Great book with great ideas July 22, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Not only does this book tell you some great ways to transform a shirt but it has so many ideas in it that it is so easy for you to get more ideas of your own. I love this book and thus far this is my fav. book on t-shirt reconstruction.
Fun and Practical May 14, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered several books which discussed ideas on sewing with recycled materials. This book was the best one because the ideas and instructions were easy to follow and fun! Everything turned out great. However, someone needs to come up with some shirt ideas for the over-35 crowd.
Best of the recon books. February 16, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've read at least 5 books on t-shirt and clothing reconstruction, and this is the best of them. It's full of projects I actually want to make (and have made), and it's easy to take the basic ideas in this book and use them as a starting point to create my own designs.
