Not a guide - it's a great pocket reference November 13, 2006

As someone who resides in Madrid, I was pleasantly surprised at how great this "guide" is. Note: this is not a guidebook. It is a foldup paper that easily slips into your purse or jacket pocket. It is now what I take out with me when I'm out and about during the day or night. Its recommendations are spot on, covering restaurants and bars that you'd never find in other guidebooks. (Other guidebooks for Madrid send you to horrible touristy places) It's a great reference and I agree with all of the comments and guidance contained in it.
If you want a big touristy guidebook that will have you dining, drinking, and dancing alongside hordes of other tourists don't buy this. If you want to see the best of Madrid without Rick Steves guidebook-toting crowds, buy the Luxe Guide.
