This guide was written to help families, educators, therapists, and other professionals learn effective ways to assist individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in school and community recreation activities. According to the authors, persons with ASD can learn lifelong leisure skills through organized recreation programs, and in this book they offer strategies to assist service providers in the creation of meaningful recreation services for children, adolescents, and adults.
