Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Psychology is about people   July 14, 2008
This book is not a new posthumous work by Hans Eysenck: it is, rather, a retitling of 1972's Psychology Is About People, although this is made clear neither on the cover nor on the product page.

In the introduction to this new edition, the author's widow and erstwhile colleague describes the book as part of a trilogy with Uses and Abuses of Psychology (1953) and Fact and Fiction in Psychology (1965); somewhat surprisingly, since the books concerned in fact form a quartet, the lady apparently having forgotten Sense and Nonsense in Psychology (1957).

That said, Transaction Publishers are to be commended for reissuing this important, eminently readable and still topical work by one of the greatest psychologists of the 20th century. Not having the time at the moment for a thorough review, I will amend this one when opportunity affords, and in the meantime recommend the book to you unreservedly.
