Product Description Competitive sports demand as much discipline and training of the mind as they do of the body. Sport psychologists, coaches, and athletes are constantly searching for new and effective approaches to pain management, exercise psychology, building self confidence, and measuring progress.

One of the best resources for research in sport psychology! March 17, 2001 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
It is rare that one can find a book that so thoroughly covers most of the research topics available in a particular field of study. This book may serve as the starting point for any sport psychology researcher or as a excellent resource for the some of the latest sport psychology research. I recommend this book for anyone who is interested in, or performing research in sport psychology.
