A STEAL AT ANY PRICE! March 19, 2007 Coach Ron Gratz uses the multiple formation offense to keep the defense guessing. He shows you how to run the same plays out of numerous formations forcing the defense to adjust each time.
All it would take is one poor adjustment by the defense and you got yourself a long run or a home run.
The best part of his system is that you do not have to change you current offense to use it. You can use your play book and your terminology.
It is a good book from youth level to college level.
Multi-Set; the simplest way to mix things up. November 19, 1997 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
If you are looking for a multi attack with a strong running game, look here. Coach Gratz gives us his insight in taking a basic offense and giving it near-infinite looks by using different backfield sets. The book could say more about the passing game, as it only gives it a quick six pages of attention to it. It is clear, however, that Coach Gratz would rather play smashmouth than use the screen or the draw. This offense is bread and butter, but it is difficult to stop if properly executed. I would recommend adapting these plays to your current system and terminology. The book is well written in that it goes over plays more than it does the terminology behind the system.
