| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description In Walking the Shore of Cape Cod, Elliott Carr invites his readers to join him on a literary, a philosophical, and a very physical journey around the perimeter of this peninsula. An inveterate walker; he explores and investigates many of the Capes most public and private places even to the extent that he is eventually driven off the beach in the back of a police car: Complete with maps and recommendations for the readers own Cape adventures, this is a book of Thoreauvian proportions.

Pleasures in reading February 21, 2002 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
One of the pleasures I savor in reading a good book is to think about friends who might also enjoy the book. So it is with Walking the Shores of Cape Cod, by Elliott Carr, a gift I received from Lindy and John last Christmas. Having tramped a bit of the outer beach myself when we camped as a family many years ago, I can relate to many of his stories. And of course, we have the model set by Henry David Thoreau, almost 150 years ago. I have recommended it to a number of friends who have a Cape Cod connection.
