Product Description Take two-they're small. And they perform miracles. Suffering a career-ending, potentially crippling injury to her back and right leg, a young dancer named Elaine Petrone tried everyone from orthopedists to yogis to turn her pain and prognosis around. Nothing worked-until she healed herself through a unique program of therapy and exercise based around the use of two small, squishy balls. From there she turned her passion into a mission that is helping the thousands of people who visit her classes conquer pain, stress, and injury.
Now, for relief for sufferers everywhere, comes The Miracle Ball Method, a healing kit containing two miracle balls and a fully illustrated book, all packaged together in an attention-getting clear plastic cylinder. The work itself is simple. Take a sore back: By resting your aching back on the grapefruit-sized balls and letting your body sink into them, you're unworking the muscles that hurt. Pain and tension drain out of the body. Petrone shows how proper breathing (which she demonstrates) works in conjunction with a range of unexercises that call for placing the balls under the back, head, knees, hip, elbow-wherever there's pain-and then resting, rolling, or rotating on them. She points out that relief can come in surprising ways: Lower back pain may be helped by placing the ball under your neck, or a bad knee might be helped by hip work. It's arevolutionary program of relief, from head to toe.

I wish it would have came with a video August 19, 2008 These are probably great if you have time for them. They come with a big book of exercises that you can practice with these, but i just dont feel like looking through the book. If it came with a video to follow i would be much more pleased with this product.
Good Product August 14, 2008 I like these balls, but as someone elses review states it takes time for the balls to work. The balls DO work, but you have got to sit on the balls for a while and let "gravity" set in for the balls to truly do their job. If you can set aside I would say at least about an hour per day to lie on the balls then it would be worth it, if not then you may need to find another method.
AWESOME August 13, 2008 I have bought this fro my mom and friends because they are absolutely amazing...trust me it's worth it
Gimmick August 10, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The concept of this ball helped me alot, not because of the balls themselves. I used these balls for one day and one third of the air escaped already and I only weigh 133. I emailed the author and publisher on how to inflate the balls and what recommendation they would give for pumping the balls. For all I know, it could break or injure the ball if I use something I do not have experience with. I have not gotten a response from either of them, in spite of the author claiming to email her anytime. The book was poorly written and most of the exercises are without the ball. If I wanted to learn how to exercise without the ball, I would have ordered another item. I am strongly disappointed with the quality of the balls and the book. I have tried using the tennis balls and those are absolutely excellent for those with severe pain. These balls are too simple and too soft to really do anything worth while. The only plus I see here is the color of the ball and for some unknown reason, the balls smell like chocolate and banana which I thought was kind of neat. The smell seems to stay but I wish the air would have. I would not buy anything from this author unless she can give what she promises, which is an answer to an email and can learn to write. The book material must have been a spoof or an accidental print because it was really bad.
I give the bonus star for the nice smell of the balls, but I didn't buy this purchase for good smells.
Simple and easy to use August 7, 2008 I am extremely pleased with the Miracle Balls. They are easy to use, require no special clothing or location and they really do work for relieving pain and stiffness. I ride a motorcycle and take long trips, sometimes riding 7 or 8 hours at a time. I take the balls with me and use them in the evening to eliminate tight, sore muscles.
