Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars A serious/funnny, at times hilarious, how-to for succeeding!   April 17, 1998
3 out of 3 found this review helpful

With Sally Jenkins of Sports Illustrated, Pat Summitt, the most successful coach in women's basketball, has written a how-to with steps that can be used by any manager or other success motivated person. It made me sad; it made me mad; but most of all it made me laugh uproarously at her alternating understatements and exaggerations. The woman is truly a genious at personality disection (some would say vivisection), and she explains precisely her methods for drawing the best efforts from her staff and her players. It isn't what you'd expect, and some of her methods fly in the face of recent ideas about educating our youth, but I guarantee that you'll like it and get some usable ideas for leadership.
