Product Description The book takes the reader into the complex and emotional interaction between coaches and their sons. It is based on over 60 interviews with Wisconsin high school head coaches and reveals the many emotions of fathers, sons and their families as they compete in basketball. Every parent with a basketball player should have this book for the tips it gives on how to deal with the coach. Every basketball coach should have a copy in their library as a source of game winning ideas.

Coaching our son's November 15, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Chuck Tank has written a wonderful book about coaching and how the coaches handled coaching their own son's. Though the coaches are from the state of Wisconsin, the book can be used by any coach anywhere in the United States and abroad. The book brings the good and the bad of the father-son relationship and not only could help coaches now coaching their son's, but also coaches that have coached their son's and find out that they weren't the only ones that had problems or had success. This book can help young people getting into coaching also and though it is basketball coaches that are interviewed, it can be used in any coaching sport.
