THE PERFECT COMPLEMENT TO MY PILATES... September 22, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I LOVE this book! The exercises are easy to follow and have helped me lose weight and get a little more toned. After years of struggling to keep going to my gym, it was a relief to find this book and realize that I don't have to go to the gym to get a good workout. Kinebody showed me how easy it can be to work out from home and stay in shape. And the best is that i don't need to work out for a long time. Just half an hour a day, 3-4 times a week is enough. I checked out the author's website, kinebody.com, which seems fairly new, but i'm still curious to see what he comes out with next. This book saved me from the boring gym and helped me get stronger for my pilates workouts.
Great Reference Guide to Bodyweight Exercises September 1, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this book after visiting the author's website on kinebody.com. He has a free teaser e-book with the TOC and 12 sample exercises from this book. I don't like gyms and I'm not big on weights, so this book seemed like a good idea. It's in an easy-to-read layout with clear explanations and lots of pictures.
I've seem some results after about 3 weeks of use, but know I need to change my diet to see quicker results.
Lot's of exercises demonstrated, some easy, some very difficult. Will keep me busy for months or years...very nice reference book!
