Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Review
David Leadbetter is the guru particularly known for the way he's molded the games of the Nicks--Nick Price and Nick Faldo--to often breathtaking levels. Faults and Fixes is a perfectly pragmatic instructional. Breaking golf into the full swing, the short game, the game in general, and mental approaches, he fills one page with a common problem--say, slicing, hooking, undisciplined practice--and on the facing page presents its cure. The language is clear, and the advice is well illustrated.

Great book I keep it out by my practice area but I really think his videos are the best.

5 out of 5 stars Key concepts of correcting your skills in golf   October 5, 2006

The challenges and faults in golf are outlined by Leadbetter in every facet of the game (from putting to the full swing) and he even includes areas for senior play. Areas are rated based on the player's level of experience and are even rated in terms of faults common to golfers of all levels.

Each section is well written with drills or imagery to communicate how to fix a problem. One side side is the fault and other other side of the page is the solution. Illustrations are clear and often humorous.

Dissecting every facet of the game is Leadbetter's specialty. This book is recommended for the intermediate or advanced player for the most part. Beginners can use this book as an outline for improvement as skill improves.

If you like drills for specific swing faults, then this book is for you. Two pages are devoted to the cause and cure of each fault. I've returned to this book again and again.
