gi July 22, 2008 i found this book quite good, it gives great lists of all the different food categories. still found that alot of the food listed was american, canadian or australian though.
not so great June 24, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was disappointed with this book. Most of the name brand products they had on their list are only available in Canada. This was of very little use to me since I live in California.

Glucose guide April 15, 2008 15 out of 16 found this review helpful
This was an interesting book but the downside was the products you would find at a grocery store were Canadian products. Products in the USA do not have a GI listing.

Guides are as they are titled "GUIDES". Just like Doctors "PRACTICE" medicene, you will not get it right 100% of the time for 100% of the people, but the guide may help you mix and match what works best for you.
