Pictures are well illustrated and presented and very realistic. If you plan on spending some time in the wilderness this is a must read with insightful information in the event you were stranded or lost. Allan MacFarlan did a good job with lots of information to absorb if you are considering camping, hiking or exploring on your own. The pictures did alot better than other popular survival books. A most have for any primitive survivalist or survivalist. Goes into much more deepth than othe survival books.
