 Where is the Sporting News Baseball Register July 1, 2008
The Sporting News Baseball Register I have been reading since I was a child 60 years ago. Over the years it has declined in quality -- no pictures of players, less personal information. But this year it has disappeared from the scene altogether.
So I picked this as a substitute -- and it is not at all the sdame thing. For what it purports to be, it is fine.

Great book fro a baseball fan. I mamage a housing building for homeless men and they are always asking about some obscure minor league team that they saw play when they lived on the road. This book gave me the info to view the team's website for more info and their schedule, if thet were playing in the Seattle/NW region.

This directory is a must for any true baseball fan. It is a wealth of information, not only for the major leagues, but for the minor and independent leagues, as well. Schedules, directions, facts, figures, are just some of the vast amount of information that is supplied. I have been buying this guide for years and it is constantly improving. Do yourself a favor and buy it!

My husband was a subscriber for years to Baseball America, and always purchased this book from them as well. Amazon.com has a better price, quicker availability and free shipping. Doesn't get any better than that!
