Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars An Excellent, Detailed Description of Violence and All of its Complex Components   May 7, 2008
As an activist against violence in our society, I highly recommend this excellent book for any age group, with a particular emphasis upon our younger generation (age 9-21) as the authors clearly outline exactly what constitutes violence and how it affects us both individually and as a whole.

Via true stories from young people (many speaking from hindsight), the reader is drawn into their deeply thought-provoking first-hand experiences, thus creating an environment causing you to desire to be a part of the solution, which is to reduce the violence in our every day lives.
