Comments: Here is the 207 pg of what appears as a 1st Edition of the book by Stanley Kalish and Clifton Edom from Rinehart & Co., and copyrighted 1951. The privately owned hardcover has some 103 b/w illustrations as elaboration for the narrative. Conditionally, the book is without its dust cover though the front flap of that cover is pasted to the back end page. Otherwise, there is a former owners name to the front end page, the green boards are in nice shape with only minor evidence of handling. The pages are clean, tear free and the binding is tight.
