This is a slightly simplified version of the Collegiate Dictionary. It is great for student use or for Scrabble or other word games.

The tenth edition is, considering its size and price, very comprehensive. While it doesn't have every word known to mankind, I keep one on me at all times (in the backpack, next to my bed) and use it frequently. So far I haven't really been outright dissapointed, its done much more good than bad as far as clearing up definitions of new and confusing words. Its nice if you need to be moving around frequently as its not cumbersome at all.

I bought and sent this dictionary to my son. He loves it and uses it quite frequently. He said it serves his needs beyond his expectations. Thanks for a great product at a reasonable price
