4 out of 5 stars A good book for high school pitchers   March 1, 2007
1 out of 3 found this review helpful

The A&S of Pitching offers up a nice mix of information on pitching mechanics, functional strength, drills, and nutrition. Tom House fans and members of his National Pitching Association probably are not going to find any new "ground breaking" material in this book. Much of what's here also is on the NPA website -- and in House's other books on pitching (he's got at least six of them). Yet, this still is beneficial for intermediate skill level coaches, parents, and players - particularly high schoolers.

5 out of 5 stars Great Drills   August 7, 2006
1 out of 9 found this review helpful

This book has a good breakdown of the landmarks of proper hitting mechanics. It also provides great drills and a practice plan to learn to pitch using those mechanics.
