5 out of 5 stars A"Must Have"   September 2, 2007
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

Dave Hough is the closest thing to a guru that I have. I ride constantly; I am a true "biker." although I don't fit the image at all. I commute on my bike; I run errands on my bike; I travel on my bike; I vacation on my bike. Dave's three books have saved me, literally, more than once from making errors that would have proven serious or fatal. Beyond that, his books have been instructive, distilling the wisdom of countless years of safe motorcycling into complete volumes like this one. Why learn the hard way, re-invent the wheel? If you ride, it's all here. Get it.

4 out of 5 stars Motorcycling skill advanced course   September 2, 2007

This book is a furtherance of your motorcycling education, read this after "Proficient Motorcycling".

4 out of 5 stars Dave again... keep on saving us from ourselves!!   September 1, 2007
The original is the best but this is still very useful. Learn what goes wrong and how to prevent it by reading and thinking instead of making your own mistakes people. Wish i'd read this before I wrote off my last bike :-(

5 out of 5 stars David Hough does it again!   August 31, 2007
Here's more information for motorcyclists of all levels. David Hough is a terrific writer. You'll hang on his every word. This time out, he shares his history of riding motorcycles, and what he's learned in over 30 years on the road. Get it!

4 out of 5 stars More of the same   August 23, 2007
Hough knows his stuff. The language is clear, the photos clear, the message clear. It's more of the same, what he writes about all the time. If you bought "Proficient Motorcycling" you've read most of what's here. If you paid attention to what you read, you can pass on this one. Having said that, it's probably useful to have it in your library. If you're buying for a biker or soon-to-be biker, it's a good choice.
