Best Pirate Book of All May 15, 2008 How I Became a Pirate
This is the BEST children's book about pirates ever written? If you are thinking about a book for a young child (my son is 7 and absolutely loves it) look no further. This is our VERY favorite!
Fantastic! April 26, 2008 This book has a wonderful story and beautiful pictures to go with it. This is a fun book for people of all ages.

How I Became a Pirate My 4 yr. old son and I stumbled upon this book at the library. We checked it out and soon discovered the book was a wonderful treasure. We had to buy a copy to add to our home library.
David Shannon's vibrant, humurous illustrations add a magical touch to this story. Parents and children alike will love reading this imaginative, humurous story again and again.
Wonderful picture book with a cute story January 13, 2008 It takes me a long time to find good picture books for my kids. This is a great one, especially if your kids are into pirates. Beautiful pictures and a cute story.
Cool Adventure for Pre-Schoolers December 29, 2007 My [...] absolutely loves reading this book with her dad every night! My daughter loves learning pirate language and the idea of burying treasure in the back yard. She also wants to brush her teeth because she doesn't want to have green teeth like the pirates. Great book to read together!! I highly recommend it to pre-schoolers!
