I was very impressed. The book arrived well within the time estimated, the condition was great and I am very happy with the purchase. Definitely will buy again through this seller.
picks and pocs September 29, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this book as a required textbook. The cover did have some picks and pocs on it. Considering that the book is grossly expensive, one would think that it would arrive in perfect condition.
Textbook review September 25, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The text is organized well and a great read if you are interested in Counseling theories. I purchased it for a graduate school class.
maybe i should analyze the dreams i had for this book September 18, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's not bad, I would actually have liked to give it 3 1/2 stars but they don't give you that option so I'm rounding down.
The hardest thing about this book was that there just wasn't enough to break up the material. Some people might like it that way, but I would have preferred a few more case studies, some more "examples", and yes, even some pictures. A bit over priced in my opinion, especially since little has changed sine the last edition.
very good August 24, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RELJ6OYABGE0J I am taking the second semester of this class right now. I had this book for the first semester. One will have to do a lot of reading but the book does a good job explaining concepts. The CD that comes with the book is awesome for testing your knowledge. If I may suggest something that has helped my studies greatly, a little book called Don't Like to Read, Then Don't, Listen!: How to Turn Any Type of Text Into Audio Files That Can Be Read to You!. I know that many students out there are like me and would rather listen to material than have to read it themselves. I use programs like the one that is reading this review to have my texts read to me. This is a god send for me. One can get this title on amazon.
