This will change the way you view gambling forever! December 24, 1998 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book is very well written, concise, and very pratical in language. I suggest reading the Beginner's Guide to Craps (John Patrick) before reading this one. This book assumes you already know basic craps strategy. Mr. Patrick covers ALL aspects of gambling, not only how to hold down your losses, but even more importantly, how to manage yourself when winning. EXCELLENT BOOK!!!
one of few that speak the truth! November 10, 1998 I have been reading Mr. Patrick's work since 1986..and still use a lot of the primary learning I received from his efforts. I have also read and purchased many, many systems over the years, and found most of them to be garbage. Mr. Patrick has always told it like it is, and has never promised anything he couldn't deliver. If you are a new player or a veteran like me, get this book...it is a valuable resource and will change the way you play...and probably save you a ton of money, not only in what you might win, but for sure in what you will not lose. It is one of few efforts that really speak the truth....(no wonder the casino publications put his work down...if we all played like we should, the casinos would suddenly have a real problem with cash flow....)
Save your money and buy a better book. October 9, 1998 2 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is a poorly written book that recommends bad bets. I think you'd be better off putting your money in a slot machine than reading this.
To become a Craps Pro - read this book. September 21, 1998 If you read the first book on Craps by John Patrick, you will want to find ways in which you can utilize your new craps knowledge in a more professional and educated manner - for that reason I highly recommend this book as a great addition to his first craps book.
Excellent advanced book on craps September 3, 1998 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is a continuation and extention of his beginning book on craps. Some stuff is repeated and some is new. What he does well is give the reader a wide variety of betting strategies. I did get tired of his constant stories about "losers" he used to illustrate what not to do. Overall - an excellent book for someone wanting to move forward in his knowledge of craps betting strategies.
