did not help me August 16, 2004 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
book is written in very interesting way, so you keep reading, it also has some nice examples, teaches caution, but I am not sure if it is practical. well at least with me all this tactic will apply only if your minimal bet per number equal minimal bet per table and bets on red, black or any other groups bet is equal to 5x minimal table bet. And at tables where minimal bet is 25 $ you need to sit at table with about 1500 in your pocket and ready to gamble all those. bottomline, I can not regret the purchase, but I did not win money either. :)

I am not a gambler, but I do enjoy the mathematics of gaming. After reading "The Eudamonic Pie" (a non-fiction look at Stanford computer scientists using computers to beat Roulette) I figured this book might provide some insight into playing strategy.Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. There are a few useful tips, but they are wedged between dozens of pages of worthless information. Need to know that chips are made of "high-impact plastic" or that you need to show up at the casino with a bankroll? This is your book. If you want to actually develop strategies to beat Vegas, save the $15 and check out any number of good Web sites that dispense gambling advice.
The Ultimate Book on Trading January 17, 2004 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I know this book was written for gambling, specifically the game of Roulette. However, the methodology, discipline and logic that Mr. Ellison uses is equally applicable to trading, and more importantly, his techniques are what being a good trader is all about.Whether you gamble at the Casino or in the Financial Markets, it's all the same. Good luck to you, and read this book before you put your money down. The principles and theories are being given away for a pittance!
not bad, but you're still a guinea pig January 9, 2004 1 out of 12 found this review helpful
I was hoping to get something out of this book. The man has interesting concepts but I do not want to be an experimenter and I want to have a real winner in my hand. His 3Q/a is not bad, but I lost $600 with it on the long run in an online casino. There is only one game that I play and it is playing outside the table. Let me tell you, just as yourself, I bought many books on gambling, my collection on gambling is over $300 worth) and right now I can tell you that I have only one real winner in my hand and I bought it over the net for $29.95. You can Paypal (www.paypal.com) zanonaz@yahoo.com for $29.95 and you will promptly receive the winning strategy by email. Not a long story on what you could do, and how this also could be an interesting game to play: NO it is only one system that is easy to play and the only one you need to know. Try it!
European Wheel Winner! November 4, 2002 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This Book it has to be said is Intelegently written, contains all you will need as far as information (not experience, that you'll get with time), and well worth investigating. Not having access to American style roulette wheels didn't stop me from winning a load of cash at all but one of my local Casinos. If you are already a Roulette player you cant help improving your play as a result of reading this book. The stratagey wins, simple. The problem is those times when it doesn't. ...REMEMBER - this book is NOT a bullet-proof vest! You can still be gunned down. But, I have to admit, overall I have so far shown a profit after following this system and the others in the book. Bravo Mr. Ellison. at least this book has paid for itself!!
