Oh My! A sports broadcasting legend tells all... November 17, 2004 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Many times I have wondered when Dick Enberg would get around to writing his autobiography. For years I have admired his ability to tell wonderful stories about the sporting events and athletes he has so graciously covered over five-plus decades.
I enjoyed every page of this book (and the bonus DVD interview), from his farm boy days in Michigan, to college, to his first marriage (and devastating divorce), fatherhood, his successes in radio and TV, a happy second marriage and family, etc. More so, I loved his wonderful stories on his days calling UCLA basketball and Al McGuire, who is sorely missed by basketball fans.
Thank you Dick for sharing your talent with sports broadcasting fans everywhere...here's to many more years ahead.
