My humble opinion of The spontaneous healing of belief May 27, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am delighted to read another book by Gregg Braden. He is simple, clear, concise in explaining the mind boggling intrinsic connection between us humans, our universe and the energy all of life is made up of.Daunting yet enlightening to know that each one of us is a powerful vehicle for healing, transformation and change for the world.
Important and timely May 26, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
For several years, I have recommended Gregg Braden's books to patients faced with chronic or life threatening illnesses. His easy-to-read style is to the fore in the excellent Spontaneous Healing of Belief. I particularly like his use of 31 'belief codes' inserted every few pages as summaries of the main points. They are repeated towards the end of the book for further ease of use. I have already used these to good effect in several consultations, as they provide a basis for a deeper understanding on how our conditioned beliefs can lead to ill health. I found the chapter 'What do you believe?', in which the author examines his own conditioned beliefs of polar opposites good and evil, the most challenging and enlightening. Balancing the yin with the yang, the dark with the light, is fundamental not only to our understanding of Eastern philosophy, but also of our emerging scientific view of our universe with its black and white holes, light and dark matter, opposing spins, interference patterns etc. Braden suggests that we relate, rather than simply react, to these opposing forces. In Vedic terms, this awareness reflects the opening of our heart chakra, and acts as a gateway to realms of higher consciousness. I explore these concepts in more depth in The Human Antenna: Reading the Language of the Universe in the Songs of Our Cells So I recommend Gregg Braden's book as an important and timely step towards 'shattering the paradigm of false limits.'

This man is fabulous! He knows how to describe many of my lifelong questions. You don't need a PHD in physics to comprehend how it is so easy to combine science with religion and life. I can hardly wait to start his next book.

This book is on of the most benifical books that I have ever read. It combines Sientific reshearch, with how your Thougts combine to let you see how there is one Source in the Universe, How your Heart felt thoughts not only are energy, but how they have actual efects in your life. I would reccomend this book to anyone looking for a way to learn and grow in there own spitual path. John.
Feeling is believing! May 5, 2008 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
Very informative look at condensing Vedic and Shamanistic viewpoints of manifesting change and love into the universe. I studied for years to learn very succinctly what Gregg Braden has to teach.
When you consider how much this world is suffering and knowing that you can help change it by changing your beliefs about your role in this universe, then you would be passing up an opportunity if you don't buy this book today!
