Very inspirational story. I got the book for my players November 16, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'm a high school football coach and I ordered this book for my football team to give to them at their end of the year banquet. They didn't have a very good season, so I thought this book might help. The amount of feedback I've gotten on the book has been amazing. This book really shows what can happen when you set a goal and go after it. It really has a strong message about not being discouraged in the face of adversity and that's why I thought it would be good for the players. I'm really glad I got it. Hopefully next season we'll win more games!
I'm a husker fan but I loved the book... November 3, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I read the first half of the book on the first leg of a flight and the second half on my flight back. Every Play Every Day has a very inspiring message. I'm a Nebraska fan by nature, but that didn't matter. It was a great story with a positive message of setting goals and believing in your dreams. I'm still a husker fan, but this might be my new second favorite team. Highly recommended!!
Inspirational story with positive message!! November 2, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This book is easy to read and details the life of a very undersized "walk-on" to Notre Dame's football team. I'm not the biggest ND fan in the world, but this book really isn't about Notre Dame it's about setting a goal and doing everything in your power to go after it. It is a truly inspirational story of the central characters unbelieveable work ethic, his single-minded pursuit of his lifelong goal and his highs and lows that he encounters along the way. When I was done reading it, I passed it onto my 13 yr old son who also enjoyed it very much. (This is an excellent book for this age group (13-17). If you have a son/daughter that does not like to read and is involved in sports (and may have the ability to excell in sports), this book definately has the potential to get their interest.) Enjoy!!
