The philosophy of the arthur (DAVID MACFARLANE) is wonderful. One can learn much more than the BASICS in Gourd Art from this book. The pictures of the artists and their work explained are tops. The book reveals where one can go in the persuit of gourd crafting.

This is a beautiful book, the projects are great, it gives you some wonderful ideas for your own works of art. It gives you a limited amount of information on the basics, not a good book for beginners. Anyone who knows the basics, it's a great book for them. A great second book in a reference collection, for the gourd artist.

This book is not only beautiful to look at, but most informative. So many wonderful projects for the beginner to advanced gourd artist. Bonnie is a very talented artist who graciously shares her knowledge with the reader.
