Introduction to Glass Fusing Review August 31, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
A well written and illustrated book. The ideas got me interested straight away in fact so much so that I had made the tangram puzzle within a week for a birthday present.
Can't wait to try the other projects in the book.
Great book for any glass artist.
great basic book August 23, 2007 This book covers all the basics you will need to get an idea of the processes for glass forming/ fusing. I have not yet used the information or attempted to do any projects, so when I do I can give a more detailed review as I use the book along with making a project.
A very nice beginner book April 7, 2007 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
This book is not too daunting and explains everything in nice simple terms for the beginner. I saw plenty of references to Kaiser-Lee shelf paper in the book, but did not realize until the supplier's list that the author is part owner of Kaiser-Lee. Usually this sort of self-promotion really annoys me, but it was done rather tastefully in this book. Some of the projects are very specific - a bit too much emphasis on sushi plates, for example - but otherwise a very good book.
Great instructional warm glass book February 7, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I received this book today. It has enough projects with detailed instruction that I feel confident I can do this. The projects in this book are way more professional looking than some simple glass objects I've seen sold by supposed "glass artists" for outrageous prices. I now know I can make my own quality glass products with the guidance of this book and another great book I purchased. Both have great photos, instructions and supply details.

This is an excellent book for all beginning glass fusers. It is clear, consise and the projects are easy for beginners to do. It gives you a lot of important and useful information about fusing. I strongly recommend for all beginning glass fusers!
