very easy to understand directions for the beginner. I would highly recommend this book for wire wrapping!

This is a very good book for teaching the basics of wire working and it is well written. The items covered are very common and are the foundation for most beaders today. The gallery is inspiring enough to send the reader on to bigger and better things.
Great beginner how to March 7, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This book is great for beginners. It is written with humor and easy to read step by step instructions. I bought the book,as a beginner, with no knowledge of how to work with wire. I have since taken several of Mark's classes since I bought this great book six years ago.
Very Helpful February 10, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book is great in it's drawings and detailed explanations for making findings. I got it along with "Bead & Wire Jewelry" by Tammy Powley for Christmas. I alternate between them when I need more clarification and both are great. I liked the pictures of the intricate pieces that had been made with wire in this book, but as a beginner, I would have liked a few more pictures of more practical jewelery;
Want to learn wireworking? Start with this book! January 3, 2007 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
When I decided to teach myself how to work with wire (especially wrapping cabs and other decorative work), I bought several books, and this one is definitely the best for learning. The illustrations are clear and easy to understand (important for me since I'm a visual learner), and the text is informative and easy to read (though not dumbed-down). I've done several of the projects so far and had no trouble (aside from my own general lack of dexterity) completing each of them, with attractive results. The other books just didn't work for me to get started, though I might be able to use them better now that I really understand the basics. If you already have the basic skills, you won't need this, but if you want to learn, start here!
