Not what I was hoping for January 30, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Overall a visually intriguing book, thought it did not contain as many paper crafts that are truly useable and, well, practical.
Fabulous book September 28, 2005 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
I absolutely adored this book. There are many beautiful art project ideas with easy to follow instructions. Anna Corba also provides many vintage images in the back of the book that you may use to create these or other art projects. I have made many of the art projects and they came out better than I ever expected. This book is a MUST HAVE.... loved it.
Although it's the first, I'm disappointed! July 19, 2005 7 out of 11 found this review helpful
Anna Corba broke ground when she introduced a book that deals with using vintage epehemera in art projects. I applaud her for introducing the concept of use of ephemera in paper arts for the home artist. I am the admitted book junkie, so I buy them all. Although I had been reluctant, because of reviews, I finally did buy the book at moderate discount. I, personally, was disappointed. Sandra Evertson, who may have taken her cue from Corba, produces a stunning and ultimately usable book.
A wonderful, lovely book! January 4, 2005 12 out of 14 found this review helpful
After being inundated by dark "altered" arts lately, this book is a welcome reprieve from the grungy. It delivers unique, fresh, and LOVELY ideas for using vintage paper items. I will buy as many Anna Corba books as she publishes.
Great book! October 20, 2004 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
I love this book! The photographs are beautiful, and the ideas are fresh, smart, and easy to do. It has become one of my favorite reference books! I highly recommend this book.
