5 out of 5 stars Full of great ideas and details   February 8, 2008

I purchased this book for my wife and daughter who are just beginning scrapbooking. We looked through the entire book in one day, and to be honest were overwhelmed by the volume of ideas photographed in this book. It is also packed with detailed descriptions of all the different techniques that they will be using for quite some time. I read all the reviews before purchasing this book, and understand that there are probably a lot of advanced techniques that hard core scrapbookers use, but since my ladies are new to this, I imagine that it will be great for them as they learn this art.

5 out of 5 stars Great for New Scrapbookers   January 1, 2008

If you are new to scrapbooking like me I strongly recommend this book. It is full of great info that will familiarize you with the oh-so wide world of scrapbooking. I love this book because it first introduces you to all of the tools that can be used in scrapbooking, and is then followed by hundreds of how-tos with wonderful sample pages. Even after you've read this book all the way through you will still be able to constantly refer to it for more page ideas. Get this book and hold onto it, it is definitely a great purchase!

5 out of 5 stars Very Helpful   October 16, 2007

I have been scrapbooking for about two years now. Even though I started off with creative memories I wanted to broaden my skills and learn all of the different techniques and tools that scrapbooking has to offer. This book is recommended for beginners through advance level. Wonderful!!! Very in detail.

5 out of 5 stars Great Comprehensive Book for Beginners/Intermediates   September 16, 2007

This book is great if you want to learn about scrapbooking. A lot of the other books that I have tried consist mostly of samples pages and then desriptions of what products were used to create the pages. I was really pleased that this book first gives detailed information about what tools and techniques can be used to make pages. People who have been scrapbooking seriously for years, probably wouldn't find this book as helpful, but for people who are looking to get more serious about scrapbooking I highly recommend this book. (And there are plenty of samples pages if you are looking for some ideas.)
