This book has wonderful and fun ideas to make an old t-shirt new.
Generation T Helped me be More Creative July 8, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I loved this book! Just last night I made the leg warmers out of a t-shirt I bought at a rummage sale. I also did the flashdance thing to two sweatshirts I bought there, too. I'm going to just cut the top out of one of my sweatshirts. This book really helped me be more creative, as you can change the ideas if you don't like part of them or anything really. You can also apply the ideas to sweatshirts and things. I can't wait to make the iPod cover! This book made me actually get off of the computer, which is amazing. Haha.
the BEST book on t-shirt reconstruction.... July 7, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this book, along with Tease, and Rip It at the same time...Save your money and buy this one alone(the other two sucked). The ideas and directions in this book are brilliant.
My only qualm is that, like most of these books-all designs seemed geared to a size 3...but that may just be a matter of opinion on my part... I do understand what the reviewer below stated ...most patterns seemed to not being worn with a bra..my solution(when I make a t shirt) is to wear a tank top underneath along with a bra under that.
That being said-this is a throughly well put together book and I highly recommend this to a beginning t shirt crafter.
5 stars!
108 is overstating it a bit July 5, 2006 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Overall a good book, but some of the projects are a bit lame (like the author was stretching things to get to '108 ideas'). There are some very good ideas that require no sewing! Great advice on starting the projects and term definitions.
Great book if you're the right body type July 4, 2006 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This book had a lot of really good ideas, but most of the designs can't be worn with a bra. So if you're large chested, this book may not be for you. It's easy enough to modify some of the designs, but only if you have sewing experience.
