This book is just what its title says it is. It provides information to beginners, as well as being a reference book to more advanced quilters.

This book is an excellent guide for all levels of machine quilters. It includes lots of clear and understandable advice, pictures, practice projects, hints and product advice. I had borrowed it from my local library and decided I needed to own one. I refer to it a lot and it has been a great help.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I have actually used the skills on a few quilting projects. It has plenty of skill levels for beginners or advanced quilters. It is also very easy to read and understand.

This, along with Harriet Hargrove's book, and Sue Nickel's book are what I consider the "bibles" of machine quilting...This is certainly worth getting...
